New HIPAA Course
A new course, The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), which goes into an extensive look into the topic, was made available to you on May 13, 2015.
The existing HIPAA Lesson from the Direct Support Professionalism course will be sunset on August 20, 2015. Learners will have 90 days to complete this lesson prior to the sunset date. Modules can no longer be built or assigned with the lesson, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) from the Direct Support Professionalism course. At this time, you need to create a new module with the new course lessons to assign to your learners.
NEW! IACET CEU’s available
The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has awarded accreditation status to Elsevier’s DirectCourse. This online training curricula will now offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to individuals seeking to acquire or maintain professional licenses and/or certifications.

Forgot Password – Reminders!
1. The Forgot Password link needs the learner record to contain 4 digits in the verification code box. It can be the last four digits of the learner ID, phone number, SSN #, etc.
2. Anyone can be provided the Permission to Reset Passwords. Once the permission is given, a learner’s password can be reset to ‘hello’ by clicking Tools, then Password Reset from the Personal Page.
